Being a landscape photographer and living in the northeast ice and snow have always been one of my favorite subjects.
I worked for many years as a large format black and white photographer but started shooting color after my first trips to the southwest where the light and colors were unlike anything i had ever seen. My images have always leaned towards the abstract, and have become more so over the years. Today as a digital artist i have developed the skills needed to produce images that i see in my mind and feel in my heart.I've become more of a painter then a photographer, something i think we all strive for as landscape photographers. I would love to take my new vision to one of the most beautiful and surreal places on earth. Photographing antarctica would be a dream come true, and i thank all at LULA for giving all photogeaphers this opportunity .
